Bengali Moong Dhal

Bhaja Moong Dhal or roasted Moong Dhal is a delicacy from Bengal. It is perfect for vegetarians, as you may find this cuisine to be a quick source of your daily proteins, and a good substitute for your day off eating meats. The recipe has been prepared without adding any garlic or onion, and letting the lentils do their magic, imparting a nutty aromatic flavour.
Ingredients Used:
Split yellow moong lentils, Cumin seeds, Black onion seeds, Dry red chilies, Turmeric powder, Jaggery, Coconut, Ginger fresh, Salt, Sunflower oil, Green Chili, water.
Serving Instructions
- Open the pouch
- Pour the contents in a microwave dish
- Heat in microwave for 3 to 4 mins
- Take the dish out
- Squeeze lemon and garnish with Chopped coriander leaves
- Eat with plain rice or puri or chapatti
